Does it deliver?
The self check-in was seamless, the breakfast abundant, and the location breathtakingly close to fine waterfalls. I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna to unwind after exploring.
The room was surprisingly small, and while the shower had its moments, hot water could be inconsistent. I was also disheartened by the absence of staff to assist .

The room was great-sized and reasonably priced with lovely view over mountains and with smoke detectors for safety measures. The staff were all exceptionally nice and exceptional. The location was marvellous, just 10 minutes walk from Skogafoss Waterfall.

Truly enjoyed our standard triple room with the view to the Skogafoss, a large window, for instance. Its location was great and stunning, just 5 minutes walk from Skogar Folk Museum.

Just a great fit for a trip in Skogar (South Iceland) with high value for money. The staff member serving dinner was really good, kind, and timely. Make sure to check the air conditioning before settling in.

Nothing, it was a total rip off, an absolute disappointment, and nothing more than a basic family bed and breakfast.
The run down bedrooms, the dirt, no facilities, the over priced rates, the size of room, the dated and shabby bathrooms. Overpriced dining room.

Staff were very helpful in arranging for riding; the food was outstanding for dinner and the dining room very attractive. Guest room had nice furnishings and was roomy.
the dining room was very warm in the evening the the flies, also there at breakfast, took away somewhat from the enjoyment of the excellent food

the walls are really thin. I could hear everything from the hallway. however, the breakfast was great. especially the bacon! loved the hot tub and the views of the fields with sheep outside the window.

Excellent location, next to waterfall and an outstanding museum. We chose it as a half-way base to the glacier lake at Jokulsarlon--which is still a 2 1/2 hour drive each way but worth it. In early September it was run by just 2 staff rather than the 5 in July & August, but they were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and the restaurant was better than expected. Good hot tub & Sauna. Off the main road, so fairly quiet.
Bed a rather small double--we are used to king size. No lounge for evenings.

Our group trip was fantastic! We went horseback riding near the Dyrhólaey ocean cliffs and visited Seljalandsfoss. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and breakfast was great! Just a heads up, the rooms can be a bit small, but the cozy atmosphere makes up for it.
We had a small issue with the bathroom smell. It could be better ventilated. It wasn't a huge problem, but it's worth mentioning .

My stay was really lovely for a night. Enjoyed my deluxe double room with good facilities, all the essentials plus great views across the valley to Skogafoss.

The best part was the fine view of Skogafoss from our room 😊 The super nice team, but the shower had a slight smell, a bit off-putting.
